Welcome to Sunny Portugal

An application for a new business venture

                                 PRETTY ISN'T IT !!

The writing is on the wall, that's for sure and there seems to be no abatement to the artistic

talents of our frustrated, younger generation. Portugal IS losing out to tourism with the neglected

city properties many owned by local Camaras. So, what's the answer.

OBLITERATE GRAFFITI NOW, THE

SCOURGE OF THE INNER CITY

Let me introduce you to: LENA GREEN

(Local Environment Needs Attention) and its not just in Portugal,

have a look at Cyprus.

The aim of the company is to help clean up this beautiful country we live in. Improving the environment is our main concern.

A big task if we are talking nationally, however, if you aim your spear at the stars and it falls short, you’ll hit the moon. If you aim at the moon and your spear falls short, you will hit the ground.

Global warming is a major problem, climates are changing owing to our wanton abuse of our planet. We can all help to do our bit, from recycling bottles to building energy efficient housing.

And it doesn't stop there, lets start with giving our towns and villages the respect they deserve and clean them up, to show we really DO care for our immediate local environment.

The LENA GREEN COMPANY is just one of the divisions of Wholesalevillas Lda (an environmentally friendly and energy conscious company) which is here to clean up the visual aspect of the country and

make it a place proud to live in. From the seed planted, it should grow into a respect for our towns and villages and make Portugal a nicer and prettier place to live. Thereby sending tourists home with a

good impression of Portugal.

Wholesalevillas also trades as MOTORHOME-MOTELS keeping Motorhome owners in the right place. And Cobbles

Our first project is to tackle that youthful obscenity ‘Graffiti’ but we need your help to do this. We are prepared to form the company to wipe out …..literally…. the blemishes on the walls of our

buildings throughout the entire land.

Our business plan.

There are various treatments for the removal of the painted blemishes on buildings but the simplest answer is to educate the ‘would be’ artists in school, stop the problem before it begins.

Some Graffiti is indeed very artistically applied and appears to be quite well designed with thought, flair and ability, however, if its been applied in a place where its offensive, it takes on the role as

an eyesore.

Views from the train station in Faro, a passengers first impression of Faro !!

Removing Graffiti is not difficult but there is no point in carrying out the procedure without the help of school teachers and town councils. More prevention than cure.

School teachers may well want to create an ‘art class’ in school for would be ‘Graffiti artists’ providing water paints and a washable wall to allow these would be

Leonardo de Vinci’s, Goya`s and Rolf Harris’s to let off steam. Their talents should not be wasted but exploited. You are dealing here with a child with a talent,

your countries future artists, so, promote 'Graffiti Art' in school and help the artist find his/her true vocation.

The Camaras can help also, by way of making it an offence against the community to allow Graffiti on private property, making it a fineable offence if the property owner does not remove it. This applies to Camara property as well.

The penalty for permitting or applying Graffiti should be severe. In Singapore, offenders are whipped. needless to say, Singapore is Graffiti free and is renowned for its cleanliness.

Recovering the costs to remove Graffiti, would be contributed to by the successful businesses in the country starting with the Banks and other financial institutions.

All companies need to be seen to be Eco-Friendly, and contributing to this project will improve the image of all those participating.

Lena Green needs the Camaras permission to obliterate Graffiti wherever it may be, without the authority of the owner of the property, to pass over adjoining land to gain access to the offending Graffiti. The company needs to act immediately on site of offending Graffiti and eliminate it, and should not be tied down by having to apply for permissions to act accordingly

When Jesse James was asked why he robbed Banks, he replied, ‘Hell man, that’s where the money is' and so it’s the banks we need to enrol as our benefactors to get this project off the ground.

 We will do this by creating a natural advertising hoarding through obliterating the offensive script, whether it be large or small, and after completion of the clean-up work, applying a simple advertising 'wall plaque' reading;

                             “Graffiti Obliterated by LENA GREEN

partnering with THE LOCAL (name) BANK.

                                   HELPING TO CLEAN UP PORTUGAL”

A monthly fee for advertising would be applied to the 'Partner'.

Partners would be contracted for two years and would receive photographs of work done, and also listed in advertising in local newspapers.

Partners targeted would be all financial institutions, supermarkets, petroleum companies, insurance companies, and all household named companies. Inclusive of all clubs, bars and restaurants and independent companies. Not to mention ALL major developers and builders.

Each company contributing would be welcomed publicly through advertising in local media's.

The monthly payments will cover all costs of the project including the wages paid to workers who may well be the prosecuted offenders who placed the offending graffiti there in the first place (penalty?…helping to clean it off for a week by the perpetrator with no wages).

The company will produce their own plaques and fix accordingly thereby creating employment above and beyond the actual physical work required to remove Graffiti.

The Company will require local people to act as sales people to cold call institutions to enlist financial help, working on a healthy commission basis. Much of this ‘seeking of clients’ can be Internet orientated thereby keeping costs down.

Imagine hundreds of plaques around Portugal reading;

                            “Graffiti Obliterated by LENA GREEN

partnering with THE LOCAL (name) BANK.

                                  HELPING TO CLEAN UP PORTUGAL”

The Banks could play a leading part in the campaign by attracting new savers with a Lena Green bank account offering a slightly higher interest and an opportunity to share in the companies success, by way of a dividend payout annually based on profit sharing, not dissimilar to Private Banking.

A little about the man who is behind this clean up campaign.

                                                                                                    Best of Me.JPG (60465 bytes)

Hello, my name is Graham Cockroft, I am managing Director of Wallflex Ltd, a company first registered in the UK in 1982 and then in Cyprus in 1993 but dormant since I came to live in Portugal some years ago.

I specialised in applying both water based and petroleum based textured wall coatings and pride myself in doing a great job in restoring both badly painted buildings and buildings with a damp problem.

In both cases, the buildings take on a new image and immediately look like new. All our products are guaranteed for ten years.

I am retired now from the business, but retirement can be a lonely business and I would be more than happy to show today's youngsters how to make a career for themselves and at the same time produce something to be proud of........not only do I create profit, I create employment !

If I was to receive finance to set up again, my intention would be to expand the 'Graffiti' removal side of the business by going full time into Texture Coating all buildings that need my services. And without fear of being offensive,........... the Algarve badly needs a repaint!!

Our products are unique inasmuch as they expand and contract with heat, ideal for summer and winter here in Portugal. The product is waterproof and allows the wall to breathe. With its unique insulation qualities, it even makes a home warmer in winter and cooler in summer. We even have products for sealing stone from water and sealing flat roofs permanently. Click on here   to see who I work with and here to see us in Cyprus a few years ago.

The subject of Franchising should also be discussed as its an ideal project to Franchise nationally and progress into Spain.

To start up, I would need around 50,000 Euros for equipment and advertising and would immediately employ local people to assist in gaining new business, and also as contractors, to apply the product.

I would need a team of four from day one, two for preparation work, one for application of product and one for sales ( which I would be heavily involved in).

So,lets just re-cap on what we can do for each other:

1.Create a new and unique business

2.Create employment

3.Instigate new local 'Anti Graffiti' laws

4.Educate kids to become artistic in school

5.Support local artists

6.Create a Franchise business

7.Expand into Spain

8.Give the local area a clean up campaign

9.Create a healthier 'greener' image for tourism

10.Eliminate the obscenity of Graffiti

11.Create advertising space for companies involved thereby promoting an upturn in their business

12.Create 'Spin off' business in painting work and general property repairs

13.Involve the Banks with a special LENA GREEN shareholders account

14.If the banks really put their weight behind this venture LENA GREEN could become a household name in Portugal renowned for its environmentally and Eco-Friendly attitude. From there on it could look at Eco-Friendly housing, solar power, wind power and steel framed homes. benefits here are just to long to list.

I am therefore making my application for a loan to get the business started.

And finally if you missed VILLA REAL and MOTORHOME-MOTELS click here.

Yours sincerely

Graham Cockroft
